This wonderful vintage belt buckle by the Zuni husband and wife duo Robert and Bernice Leekya is a beautifully balanced piece showcasing classic Southwestern artistry and exceptional lapidary work. The design centers around three dreamy blue turquoise stones, each individually bezel set with sawtooth borders that highlight the natural beauty of the hand-cut stones. Two pairs of large raindrops separate the stones, while elegant fan shapes grace the top and bottom of the composition. Twist wire borders and a heavily sawcut frame add rich texture and depth throughout the piece.
