1990s Native American NAVAJO Contemporary Sterling & Turquoise Concho Belt Set

This wonderful vintage Navajo-made sterling silver concho belt set is an eye-catching and beautifully coordinated ensemble. The set includes a belt buckle and six matching concho slides, each featuring a high bezel set diamond-shaped turquoise stone framed by scalloped bezels and delicate twist wire. The silver surfaces are richly textured with a repeating feather-like pattern that creates subtle depth across every piece. Completing the set are six coordinating butterfly slides, adding wonderful contrast and visual rhythm to the overall design. Each slide is fitted with a copper slider on the back, allowing the pieces to be strung onto a leather belt for versatile wear. The set was created by a pair of brothers who are expert Navajo silversmiths - the buckle and conchos were created by one brother and the butterflies were created by the other, both of whom work in-house for a very reputable gallery in Old Town Scottsdale, AZ. With its bold turquoise stones, impressive silverwork, and substantial weight, this vintage set makes an unforgettable Southwestern statement.

Please Note: This listing does not include a belt, it is only for the pieces of the set as shown. Also, there is a hairline crack near the tip of the belt buckle's stone on one end. The stone is very secure in its setting.
